Area 51 sc arrived on this planet 1997 with 3 members to begin the journey, Gary, Toad and Mark.
The name comes from the The United States Air Force facility commonly known as Area 51, located at Groom Lake in the Nevada Desert. The guys were interested in aliens and of course the X-Files, so the name was adopted.

Since then Area 51 members have come and gone and in 2004 the club slowed down due to member changes. In 2005 the club went through a revamp and with Sarah at the helm plus old members Wendy, Ruth, Matt and Linzi they built up a respected reputation.

Today the club has 25 + nutty members, who are committed to scooters, the music and lots of laughs as the gallery will show you.

The club is based in Worthing, West Sussex and manages to be represented at plenty of rallies in the UK, Europe and Internationally, plus rideouts and Do's including the Boxhill Rideout which is currently on its 18th year and the Bulldog Run.

2017 was the clubs 20th anniversary.
